The DCJS Virginia Center for School and Campus Safety is pleased to announce a webinar titled “Planning for Recovery When the Worst Happens” for educational leaders, law enforcement, and emergency planning partners. This two and a half hour event will focus on how to plan for reunification and recovery.
This webinar will be an opportunity for school and division leaders, as well as first responders and other partners from across the Commonwealth to hear from nationally known leaders in recovery and trauma.

Crisis planning and response teams who wish to better understand reunification and trauma recovery and improve their crisis management preparation, response and recovery efforts. This includes law enforcement, fire and EMS personnel, emergency managers, regional medical service partners, school administration, and others involved in the development of school crisis plans and emergency planning.
Law enforcement officers and school and campus security officers who complete this training are eligible to receive partial in-service credit hours.
This webinar is being offered at no cost to participants.
