The Director of the Division of Programs and Services at the Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services (DCJS) is responsible for the oversight and administration of the Correctional Services, Juvenile Services and Victims Services programs and staff. The Division of Programs and Services is also responsible for the administration of many of the agency grant programs, including the Byrne/Justice Assistance Grant program, Local Community Corrections and Pre-trial Programs, Victim/witness Programs, federal Juvenile Justice Programs and other programs that provide funding, program development, technical assistance and training to state agencies and local governments throughout the Commonwealth.
